How to push level measurement

I had quite an interesting project to work with today - Level measurement products. For the uninitiated feel free to read-up on what level measurement is. Optimising technical sites needn’t be a problem, the problem comes if there is little information on the site and the client/potential client is reluctant or unwilling to add copy.

When dealing with a specialised site it is important to remember that it is ‘quality, not quantity’. There is absolutely no point bringing inadequate traffic to any site; but when the subject matter is really defined it does require the right traffic coming in. Not all web traffic is a numbers game. If you have the right traffic and the right conversion then you have a real business asset.

My opinion was to introduce relevant copy to the site which would serve a real purpose and would attract quality links, without this essential ingredient you cannot expect anyone to want to link to a site if it is nothing more than a glorified printed catalogue.
